Crisis & Christmas

The “road of resilience” is bound to have some “stress bumps” along the way- some large and some small; some anticipated and some that surprise you as they come up around the curves. Starting now, be prepared and be aware. Especially at this holiday time of year, be ready to notice the smallest disappointment to the biggest emotional “assault.” And be ready because the time has come! This is your time. Remember that the Chinese character for “crisis” means both danger and opportunity. Make this Christmas your big opportunity to transform some area of your life that has held you back, that has held you in sadness, anger, resentment- some form of grief that you’re now ready to release. You’re ready to let go of those feelings because you’re ready for freedom, joy and empowerment. At Christmas we celebrate a special birth. It’s time to rebirth your Self into new life!

I’m tossing off the shroud of sadness after burying three family members this year. My mother, most of all, would want me to celebrate Christmas, celebrate myself and my family and look to greater joy and abundance in the new year. Please join me.
